Product Overview
The Helix AAC external wall system contains 50mm and 75mm thick wall panels that can be attached to both timber and steel frames using light-gauge steel top-hat battens and breathable wall wrap. They can also be installed on all types of wall elements, including parapets and bulkheads.
The system relies on autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), which offers exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation and fire resistance. The panels are additionally reinforced with corrosion-protected steel mesh and a durable AAC core to resist moisture and termites.
Helix AAC external walls come in two thickness options – 50mm, ideal for residential external cladding, and 75mm, a go-to choice for external cladding and facades. Once installed, the panels are finished with the Dulux two-coat render system, which ensures superior aesthetics and protection against micro-cracks.
Helix AAC panels are fully compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC) for external wall applications, making them a safe and reliable choice for a wide range of buildings, from family houses (classes 1 and 10) to more complex multi-residential and commercial buildings (classes 2-9).
