AAC Fencing System

The Helix AAC fencing system uses autoclaved aerated concrete to reduce noise from neighbouring houses and provide more privacy. Unlike timber or metal fences that reflect and transmit sound, Helix AAC panels absorb and block noise. They are also non-combustible and immune to moisture, pests and corrosion, which makes them suitable for all climates, from coastal regions to bushfire zones.

Thanks to their size (75mm) and low weight (35.6-39.8 kg/m²), the panels can be mounted quickly on steel or wooden posts. Plus, they reduce the dead load on the soil, which prevents cracking. The fencing panels can be easily cut and shaped, giving freedom to designers to create customised fences that will suit different architectural styles, from a simple boundary fence to a modern fence with integrated gates. In addition, the smooth surface of AAC panels enables designers to apply a variety of finishes, including textured coatings and architectural cladding.

The Helix AAC fencing system can be used in commercial buildings, where it can be applied as a security wall, as well as in multi-residential developments to block airborne noise. The Helix AAC fencing system is fully compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC), which guarantees that the panels meet required performance criteria for safety, durability, and structural adequacy.
