Situated on a ridgeline overlooking Port Phillip Bay, this 420m² luxury residence demanded materials that could withstand the full force of the coastal environment — salt spray, humidity, thermal cycling, and BAL-40 bushfire exposure — without compromising the architect’s vision for clean rendered elevations.

The project team specified Helix 75mm AAC wall panels across all external walls and the boundary fence. The inorganic mineral composition of AAC makes it completely indifferent to coastal moisture and salt air — a critical advantage over timber and conventional masonry in this environment.
