Product Overview
The Helix 50mm AAC panel is designed as an all-in-one cladding solution for steel and timber-framed buildings. The Helix 50mm AAC panels are made of autoclaved aerated concrete, a material filled with air pockets, which gives the panels exceptional insulating power and serves as a good alternative to traditional masonry because it’s 75% lighter. The panels are also reinforced by a single-layer steel mesh to prevent cracking, improve tensile strength, and increase durability over time.

Technical Information
The Helix 50mm panels are made of autoclaved aerated concrete and reinforced by a single-layer steel mesh, centrally located. Each panel is screwed to steel or timber wall framing through horizontal light-gauge steel top-hat battens and breathable wall wrap. The panel is 50mm thick, 600mm wide, and weighs 23.9-26.5 kg/m².
The 50mm AAC panel comes in various lengths - 2200, 2400, 2550, 2700, 2850, and 3000mm. It achieves a Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of 90/90/90, meaning it provides 90 minutes of protection against fire, while its thermal resistance stands at 0.431 m² K/W.
